Hints & Tips

Entry Deadline: 7th May 2010

Each submission must indicate clearly to the judges the nature and degree of difficulty of the challenge faced or the success achieved.

Be specific.  And don't waste words!

You may enter any number of appropriate categories.

A completed entry form must accompany each entry, even when it has been entered in another category.

If you wish to submit multiple entries you may make photocopies of this form.  You may also reproduce the entry form on your own word processor system, but please adhere to the same layout.

It is important to complete the entry form in full.  If the work has been commissioned by another organisation please secure the signature of a senior person at the commissioning organisation.

In addition to the information requested on the form, each entry must be accompanied by a submission that briefly describes the entry, and answers all specific questions and details requested within the category criteria.

Refer to specific word limits.  You may attach additional supporting material, such as evaluations, inspection reports, testimonials pr press cuttings, to back up statements made in your submission.

It is clearly understood that in some cases, entries may include commercially sensitive information. NurseryWorld reserves the right to publish descriptions and case studies of winning entries, but if an entrant asks for any part of their submission to remain confidential, it will be treated as such.

Sponsor organisations are not allowed to enter the category they have agreed to sponsor.

The decisions of the judges are independent and final, and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the results.

For each entry you should send in:

  • Four copies of the entry form
  • 15 copies of your submission
  • One copy of any support material
